MAX MEDITATION
Meditation is a state of relaxed awareness.
This is a highly effective meditation technique that is good for deepening meditation at all experience levels; and it particularly good for those who find meditation difficult. The technique was developed by Gudni Gudnason, the founder of the Modern Mystery School, who is one of the highest master teachers of ancient energy-based modalities living today. Moreover, he is a highly experienced meditator who trained in ancient methods of meditation with prominent teachers in India and Tibet, and additionally holds a degree in neurolinguistic programming and psychology. Knowledge that he has utilized to make this meditation more readily accessible to all levels.
The Max Meditation System is based on the following components of meditation:
1. Relaxation
2. Passive meditation
3. Active meditation
4. Guided visualization
5. Soothing down
The meditation starts with relaxation and attention to the breath, which can be very restorative for the autonomic nervous system.
Passive meditation - allows thoughts to surface from the subconscious, which begins the process of making space and reorganizing the mind.
Active meditation - is used to create conscious change such as health/vitality, or self-awareness. This part of the meditation also introduces a word to be actively repeated called a Kotodama, this comes from Zen Buddhist meditation and is different from a mantra. The word is a reminder of earth and its beauty; and the wonders related to the purely tactile experience of life.
Guided visualization - is not a true meditation technique, rather it is journey for the purpose of relaxation or inspiration.
Soothing down - is a gentle and peaceful way of returning to full awareness.
