JIKIDEN REIKI
Jikiden reiki also called, Usui Reiki Ryoho, is the most traditional reiki from an unbroken Japanese lineage starting with Mikao Usui, a Zen Buddhist ascetic who became enlightened and simultaneously discovered reiki while preparing to die on Mount Kurama. Unlike reiki that was introduced to the west through Hawayo Takata, Jikiden reiki is unaltered from the original lineage and comes from Chiyoko Yamaguchi, a student of a direct disciple of Mikao Usui - Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, a naval officer and doctor.
The original Usui Reiki Ryoho/Jikiden Reiki, is a physical treatment centered around the core belief that when a person is mentally restored and spiritually healthy, that physical health follows naturally.
In Jikiden reiki, the reiki practitioner accesses spiritual energy available in the universe and channels these healing frequencies to break up Byosen to promote physical wellbeing and an improved mental state in the recipient. The session is completed with Ketsueki Kokan Ho - Kekko massage. The Kekko massage is similar to shiatsu and adds another dimension to improved circulation during a reiki session along with aiding in the removal of old stagnant energy from the energy field of a client, released during the reiki treatment.
